Architectural project for Trabensol Senior Center
The architectural project of the Trabensol Center is the built manifestation of the way of life decided by the cooperative members. With the experience of the project and the construction of the Center as departure point, Equipo Bloque starts the initiative eCOHOUSING for the development of the collaborative housing
OUTLINE OF THE PROJECT
The members of the Trabensol cooperative confronted the architects of Equipo Bloque with an important challenge: how to give architectural form to the way of life that they were thinking of. This vital project, distant from contemporary standards, gives priority to the common program. This case was not about gathering conventional dwellings around common services, but rather creating a formal, functional and energy organism with a perfect equilibrium between the common and the private.
Trabensol Cooperative demanded a perfect balance between common and private. Equipo Bloque Arquitectos addressed this issue through levels of communal living-privacy
